One a son of the night
He masters the stars and the moon
Standing guard over a city of steel
He waits for the day he will never know.
One a daughter of morning
She knows the sun and the sky
Living her days in the city of men
She looks to the night to set him free.
When shall the twain be one?
Where shall they find a home?
In the land beyond the stars
Between sun and moon
That is where they shall find their love.
